A book fair featuring local authors is planned for June 15 at the Historic Depot in downtown Burlington.
Organizer James Maxstadt said that about 20 authors are expected to be there representing a variety of genres, including historical fiction, romance, fantasy, children’s books, thrillers, poetry and non-fiction. Some authors have one or two books, while others have quite a few more, he said.
The event will take place inside the depot building as well as the surrounding patio and lawn area from noon to 4 p.m. There also will be food trucks.
Maxstadt said that if the event goes well, it may expand next year to add readings and a workshop or two.
