Kelley Alexis Bump and Andrew Cain Sharpe, both of Charlotte, were wed at half past five o'clock on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at First Presbyterian Church in High Point. The ceremony was officiated by by the Rev. Kenneth Lee Broman-Fulks.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Winslow Bump of Thomasville. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Iceman Smith of High Point. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mr. Harold Stanley Sharpe II of Burlington and Ms. Janet Marie Cain of Chapel Hill.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Shippey Elizabeth Lewallen of Charlotte. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Lauren Silver Sottile of Charleston, SC; Ginger Elliott Moore of Raleigh; Emily Thomas Miller of Winston-Salem; and Charmeen Elizabeth Mack, Cristina Qubein Buckfelder and Vanessa Anastasia Finnie, all of Charlotte.
The groom's father was best man. Groomsmen were John William Andrews IV of Austin, Texas; Joubran Moussa Joubran II of Greensboro; Christopher Lee Yow Jr of Roanoke, Va.; Brandon Lee Scott of Naperville, Ill.; Kevin Eugene Causey of Raleigh; Matthew Edwin Hornaday of Winston-Salem; and David Stephen Crotts of Washington, D.C.
The bride graduated from Westchester Country Day School in High Point in 2004, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2008 and Campbell University Physician Assistant Program in 2013 where she received a Master of Physician Assistant Practice degree. She is employed with Sanger Heart and Vascular Institute in Concord.
The groom graduated from Walter M. Williams High School in Burlington in 1997 and North Carolina State University in Raleigh in 2001, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He is employed at Transure Services in Whitsett.
The wedding reception was held at the Lofts at Union Square in High Point with entertainment provided by Rhythm Nation of Atlanta, GA.
