The Rev. Randall L. Orwig and Rev. Sharon McIntyre Wheeler officiated. Music was by David Lynn Griffin of Cary, uncle of the bride, piano and organ; Stephen Wayne Griffin of Alexander City, Ala., uncle of the bride, flute; and Charles Edward Rogers of Graham, trumpet.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sandy Davis Griffin III of Burlington. She is the granddaughter of Ms. Eloise Sutton Brantley of Burlington, the late Mr. Bobby Miles Brantley and the late Mr. and Mrs. Sandy Davis Griffin, Jr. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Mark Harrison, Sr. of Burlington. He is the grandson of Mrs. Betty Sue Norris of Graham, the late Mr. Donald Lee Norris and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Glenn Harrison, Jr.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
Maid of honor was Ms. Meghan McFadden of Denver, Colo. Matron of honor was Mrs. Julia Weigand Hoke of Slidell, La. Bridesmaids were Ms. Rachel Frances Johnson of Durham; Ms. Marie Ann Hayes of Charlotte; Ms. Catherine Ann Reece of Raleigh; Ms. Margaret Alison Sherron of Chapel Hill; Mrs. Lauren Adams Harrison of Durham, sister-in-law of the groom; and Mrs. Caitlin Harrison Brooks of Apex, sister of the groom.
The groom's father and his brother, Mr. Jack Alexander Harrison, were best men. The couple graduated from Walter M. Williams High School in 2011 and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2015.
The bride graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with Highest Honors and is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She is a member of Phi Mu Fraternity. She is a doctoral student in Clinical Health Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
The groom graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science. He is a solutions architect at Forefront Technologies in Burlington.
The couple honeymooned in Highlands, N.C. and reside in Burlington.
