BURLINGTON – A man was shot Thursday night and also was involved in a wreck, the Burlington Police Department said.
The shooting was reported about 9:50 p.m. Officers arrived at the intersection of South Graham Hopedale Road and Hanover Road to find two vehicles that were involved in a collision, and inside one of them was a 21-year-old man who had "multiple gunshot wounds," police said.
The man was flown to a local hospital and was listed in stable condition late Thursday, police said.
All parties involved remained on the scene, and there were no active threats to the community or surrounding areas, police said.
No other information about the shooting or the wreck was released.
