BURLINGTON — The City of Burlington is offering men, women and co-ed softball leagues. Teams may register from March 1-28. Games will begin the week of April 3. Team entry fee is $375.
Games are played in Burlington, mostly at City Park, 1333 Overbrook Road, but may also be at Fairchild Park, 827 S. Graham Hopedale Road.
Individuals who want to play but don't have a team may email jhicks@burlingtonnc.gov and provide their contact information in case a coach has an opening.
For more information, visit www.burlingtonnc.gov/2211/Recreation-Parks, and under Recreation, click on Adult Sports, then on Softball. There will be an option to register online, but paperwork and payments may be submitted in person at Burlington Recreation & Parks, 1333 Overbrook Road. The recreation department may be reached at 336-222-5030.
