The Burlington Police Department will play host on Tuesday to National Night Out.
The event continues to be a staple of the Burlington community, promoting police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. The officers and professional staff of the police department enjoy meeting members of the community and seeing their smiling faces and more importantly, building relationships through one-on-one conversations and enjoying the food.
This year’s event will occur in person at over 30 locations through the city of Burlington. The start times at the available locations will vary between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., with finish times occurring at 8 p.m. at each location. To find the location closest to you, visit www.burlingtonnc.gov/NNO.
The community is asked to be mindful of the safety of others while attending the event locations. For more information, contact the community resource officer, Bobby Davis, at 336-516-5415.
