ELON — Three Guilford County were arrested this week after a search found more than 30 pounds of marijuana and several handguns, the Alamance County Narcotics Enforcement Team said.
Prompted by information provided by the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office, investigators established probable cause to suspect the involvement of multiple individuals in the distribution of drugs in Alamance County, and on Wednesday members of ANET executed a search warrant at a house in Elon, a press release said. They found over 30 pounds of marijuana, multiple handguns, a large amount of cash and drug paraphernalia.
Wesley Jordan Lotharp, 26, of Greensboro was charged with two counts of trafficking marijuana, two counts of possession of a firearm by felon, possession of a stolen firearm, maintaining a dwelling for the sale of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Dorset Arthur Creese, 27, of High Point was charged with two counts of trafficking marijuana, possession of a stolen firearm, maintaining a dwelling for the sale of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jasoni Cortz Guyton, 25, of Greensboro was charged with two counts of trafficking marijuana, possession of a stolen firearm, maintaining a dwelling for the sale of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
All were being held at the Alamance County Detention Center with no bond allowed.
