Since 1971, The Arc of Alamance County has been helping individuals with developmental disabilities and their families have happy and successful lives. The organization also works to improve understanding and inclusion. At Christmastime, it also provides gifts for more than 80 people through its ArChristmas Fund.

The fund benefits from Love Enough to Share, the Times-News’ annual holiday fundraiser that also aids The Salvation Army’s “Shoes With Love” program, the local chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness’ Operation Santa Claus, the Foster Children’s Christmas Fund, Residential Treatment Services of Alamance’s Santa’s Helper program, and Christmas Cheer.
