One young man is in critical condition, a second is in jail, and Burlington Police are looking for a third over a shooting in a Burlington nightclub; Graham Police arrested a second victim later with two others on gun and assault charges.
Kevin Eugene Beckham II, 19, of Gibsonville, is wanted for two counts of attempted first-degree murder, according to a Burlington Police Department news release. Police also charged a 24-year-old from Mebane, with two counts of accessory to attempted first-degree murder, though they have not said what his connection is to the shooting or to Beckham.
Police say Beckham shot two men at about 1 a.m., Sunday, June 5, in Club Mamba at 2371 Corporation Parkway. The first, a 21-year-old Reidsville man, was seriously injured and is in a “regional hospital.” It took police a while to find the second victim, a 22-year-old Graham man, and he refused treatment.
