Authorities last week arrested two people following a report of shots fired into an occupied Green Level home.
At around 1 a.m. on Aug. 25, deputies responded to a home on Calhoun Place, according to a press release from the Alamance County Sheriff's Office. The house had been hit multiple times by gunfire, but no one was injured, the Sheriff's Office said.
Tamile Emeer Cohn and Alexia Jasmin Matias, both 21-year-old Graham residents, were arrested in connection with the shooting.
Cohn is being charged with one count of felony discharging a firearm into an occupied residence and six counts of felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. He's being held on a $150,000 secured bond.
Matias is being charged with felony obstruction of justice. She was released on a written promise to appear in court.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office at 336-570-6300 or Crime Stoppers at 336-229-7100 or www.p3tips.com.
