As summer slowly simmers away, and inflation continues to rise, a summer job may be a good opportunity for teenagers to get a taste of responsibility and dive into the world of savings.

As a teenager of a single mother and two sisters, a summer job was a hot item on my to-do list. As soon as I was 15-and-a-half, the legal working age in some states, I applied to Wendy's and worked with my childhood best friend.
