To the editor:
Frequently I am reminded that we have a lot of kind people in our country, and especially right here in Alamance County. I am 86 years old and have to use a cane when I leave my car due to my poor balance. Just recently while leaving the Food Lion on South Church Street, I had just unloaded my groceries and was turning to return my cart to the store when a young lady sitting in her car directly across from my car, jumped out and hollered, "Sir! Sir, please wait. Let me take that cart for you."
