Small businesses need technology help
To the editor:
Recent studies underscore that small businesses leveraging digital tools are more likely to witness growth in revenue and workforce. Yet, a concerning digital literacy chasm persists between large and small enterprises. Given that small businesses form the backbone of our economy, providing the lion’s share of jobs, this discrepancy should capture the attention of our legislators.
Government intervention can play a pivotal role in bridging this digital divide. The Small Business Technological Advancement Act stands out as an exemplary initiative to aid small businesses in their digital transformation journey. With the House now having a speaker, it’s crucial for Congress to prioritize and act on pragmatic solutions like the SBTAA to support the real drivers of our economy.
