It's a bird! It's a plane! It's Tarheel Comicon!

It's almost time for the the Tarheel Comicon, formerly known as the Holly Hill Comicon, at the Mebane Arts and Community Center. The center is located at 106 E. Washington St. in Mebane.

Fanboys and fangirls can plan to attend the comic convention on Saturday, Nov. 7. This will be the third year the convention attracts local and regional comic and movie fans to shop for memorabilia, participate in cosplay, meet with comic artists and meet and greet television and movie celebrities.

As this issue of Alamance Living goes to press, organizers said the convention is still on for Nov. 7. For more information, visit Brothers Vintage Toys and Games at 117 W. Davis St. in Burlington, or on the internet at https://brothers-toys.com. In the meantime, enjoy these photos of all the action and fun from last year.
