The Sheriff's Office is looking for two men who are accused of robbing a woman at gunpoint on Tuesday, Aug. 4.
Deputies with the Sheriff's Office say they responded at around 1:30 p.m. to a home near Western Alamance Middle School, where a woman said two men broke in and robbed her at gunpoint.
The woman said the men forced her into another room before they left the scene, according to the press release. Deputies say the woman wasn't hurt in the encounter, but she says some of her property was stolen, including an Xbox and game controllers.
The woman said one of the suspects had a pistol with a black handle and a purple upper receiver, according to the press release.
The suspects are described as two black males, 18 to 21 years old, in dark clothing and with backpacks. One of the suspects had on a multicolored face mask, the woman said.
Deputies say a neighbor saw the two men running south on N.C. Highway 87 toward Western Alamance High School around the time of the incident.
