Haw River Trail Run virtual race to benefit Special Olympics of Alamance County can be completed any time, anywhere through Saturday, Oct. 24. The top three men and women will be recognized by Friday, Oct. 30. Includes a 5K and an 8-mile race. Alamance County Public Libraries “Grab & Go” starts Monday, Oct. 12, at May Memorial, Graham and Mebane locations. Browse and check out materials. Limit visit times to 30 minutes for browsing or one hour on the computer. Face coverings required. Limited entry based on building capacity. Keep social distance of 6 feet. Limited or no seating. Hours for Grab & Go, curbside and computers: Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; senior access on Tuesday and Thursday from 1-2 p.m.; general access on Tuesday and Thursday from 2-6 p.m. If you are experiencing symptoms of illness, the library asks that you postpone your visit.
