Witnesses said they saw a man carrying a young girl on his shoulder and placing her in a vehicle's trunk. The vehicle was described as a newer white Chevrolet Malibu or Impala.
The man was described as a Black male in his early 20s who is around 5-foot-9. He has a slim build, with close-cut hair on the sides of his head and longer hair on top, according to a news release. The child was described as being of an unknown race with dark, braided hair in a bun. She wasn't wearing shoes and had on a blue or purple shirt or jacket and jeans.
