A Dominoes delivery driver was assaulted in an attempted robbery on Thursday afternoon, police said.
Before 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 24, a man was delivering a pizza on the 1100 block of Dixie Street when he was assaulted from behind, according to a press release.
Police said he wasn't injured, but the suspect tried to take his vehicle. The delivery driver managed to fight off the attacker, who ran away from the scene, the release said.
Police describe the suspect as a light-skinned black male with a slim build, who was wearing a green shirt.
