The Alamance County Sheriff's Office is increasing the reward amount for information leading to the location and arrest of a man accused of murder.
Deputies are looking for Lloyd Carvon Gillis Jr., 29, of Burlington, N.C. on a felony first degree murder charge, according to a press release. The Sheriff's Office is offering a $3,500 reward for information.
Deputies say just before 1 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 16, Christopher Tyrick Gattis, 24, of Green Level, N.C. was shot as he tried to leave a home in the 2200 block of James Boswell Road.
Gattis was taken to the Alamance County Regional Medical Center where he died of a gunshot wound, the release said.
