The President of the United States is the only individual in our Government in Washington that has a set term of office. The Supreme Court members are appointed for life. Both houses of Congress can be elected until they are defeated or they retire or die in office.
Do we the citizens of the United States want members of Congress electedvfor up to 30 or 40 or 50 years? Would our country be better served if Congress had term limits? The individual members of Congress do not seem to want to set term limits for themselves. The United States Constitution provides a way to make this happen.
