I was interested to learn that seven N.C. GOP House members have joined the fatuous Texas lawsuit that seeks to overturn our legitimate election. This lawsuit, which claimed that the 2020 election was laced with fraud and should be overturned, was understandably dismissed by the U.S. Supreme Court. But the lawsuit was supported by over 120 Republican members of Congress and 19 state attorney generals, even though it was not only frivolous but absurd. The N.C. House members who supported this lawsuit were the following: Reps. Mark Walker, Ted Budd, Dan Bishop, Virginia Fox, Richard Hudson, David Rouzer and Greg Murphy.
These lawmakers placed Donald Trump before their party and their country. Therefore they should suffer the consequences for breaking their constitutional oath. Every thoughtful Republican with an I.Q. above the Richter scale should vote them out of office in the next election.
