Letter: Conservatives, liberals, others should vote Republican

Staff Writer  |  Times-News

Voter clarity could not be better. If your preference is chaos, lawlessness, malice, and rogue government, then vote for Democrats. You should vote Republican if . . .

You are conservative. You may have to vote for individuals who are not truly conservative, but you have no other option. We can vote out the fakes in the mid-terms.

You love America and the Constitution. It is now obvious that the Democrats have been commandeered by those desiring to destroy our country by any means necessary and available.

You eschew censorship and tyranny. From Twitter to Gone With The Wind, thought police are on the prowl. Who constitutes the "community" that decides what is allowable or true? Think about it. It's certainly not Republicans.

You are Christian. Note how the Democrats have openly discriminated against your church, your faith, and your Christian values. Do not withhold your vote as if you are doing something righteous.

You own a business or desire to earn money. You have suffered at the hands of those who think they have the right to shut your doors -- and take that which you wish to pass on to your family.

You are a historian, an economist, a lawyer, an academic, or a college graduate. You have been betrayed by Democrats who deny, erase, re-write, ignore, degrade, destroy, and insult your life pursuits and your esteem for things intellectual.

You value logic and common sense. You cannot rationally embrace the actions, endorsements, demands, or desires of the Democrat party. Any attempt to find logic (of the classical, philosophical type) or basic common sense in the Democrat party is futile. The "defund police" movement is the epitome of their illogic, irrationality, and lack of sense.

You are progressive or liberal. No enlightened person can say that the destruction, devolution, and regression that has filled the streets is progress-- nor is it a necessary step for progress.

You feel disenfranchised by virtue of race, sex, or income. To vote Democrat is to embrace a party that has high-jacked your cause and exploited your opportunities to be heard. Refuse to be used any longer.

You are an immigrant. Your experiences under other governments and knowledge of the opportunity that brought your family to America compel you to vote for the party that truly believes in democracy and opportunity.

You really don't care. The voices in the street do not allow neutrality or opposition. Only the Republican party allows you to choose who you wish to be -- it's called freedom.

Don't ignore what you see. Don't buy into the lies and fear. Don't be lazy or indifferent. You are not alone. I see Americans of every creed, color, and background living in harmony, waving to each other, smiling, helping. The future is indeed bright if you vote for our country and Constitution. This is a call to be courageous and determined -- Make America Great!
