ALTAMAHAW — Dillon Harville and Michael Tucker made it twice as nice Saturday, with each driver tidying up by sweeping their way to a pair of victories at Ace Speedway.
Stokesdale’s Harville claimed both of the track’s 30-lap Limited Late Models events, the back-to-back trips to victory lane increasing his total to three wins in the division’s four races this month.
Harville’s No. 33 Chevrolet finished ahead of runner-up Jamie York and third-place Justin Whitaker in the first 30-lapper. Later, he came in ahead of Cory Dunn and Gary Young Jr., who placed second and third, respectively, in the second event in the class.
Thomasville’s Tucker remained unbeaten this month at Ace, topping the field in both 25-lap Mini Stocks events and improving his winning streak to four straight victories in the division.
Tucker won ahead of Chuck Wall and Robert Strmiska, the runner-up and third-place finisher, respectively, in each of the 25-lap races.
Burlington’s Young (20-lap Modifieds) and Burlington’s Trey Brame (20-lap Extremes) picked up victories in Saturday’s other races at Ace.
