A Burlington man won a $100,000 prize this week on a scratch-off lottery ticket.
Oscar Galdamez-Escalante of Burlington bought the $25 Extreme Cash ticket at Sam’s Grill on N.C. 119 North in Mebane.
He claimed his prize Tuesday at lottery headquarters and, after required state and federal tax withholdings, took home $71,507.
