YANCEYVILLE — Audrey Grey Parks Kimbro, 99, of Yanceyville, NC passed away at her residence on Sunday, March 31, 2024.
A native of Rockingham County, she was the wife of the late Brodie Everette Kimbro and the daughter of King Parks and Nannie Smothers Parks, both deceased. She retired from American Tobacco Company as a machine operator. Audrey attended Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Craig Kimbro and wife Deanna of Yanceyville; daughter-in-law, Donna Kimbro of Burlington; three grandchildren, Chandler Kimbro and wife Heather, Alex Kimbro and husband Jerry, and Kimberly Kimbro; and two great grandchildren, Langston Kimbro and Ford Kimbro. She was preceded in death by a son, Parks Everette Kimbro; four sisters, Odessa Carter, Erlene Hall, Ethel Oakley, and Irene Boswell; and two brothers, Harold King Parks and William Roy Parks.
The funeral service will be conducted at Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 2 p.m. by Dwight Chandler with the family receiving friends from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
