8 p.m.-midnight: Bank-fishing catfish tournament at Graham-Mebane Lake, 3218 Bason Road, Mebane, weather permitting. Kids under 16 must be with an adult and be able to cast, hook a fish and reel it in. Day-of sign-up. Cost: $15 per entrant. Free for spectators (identify yourself to lake staff during sign-up period or upon arrival). Live bait available to purchase. Fish must be caught on site by rod, line and hook. Two rods per entrant. 50/50 drawing. No alcohol, tobacco or vapes. Pets must be leashed with leash in hand and remain under positive control.
