Robert and Lynn Stas of Burlington announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Lee Stas of Mebane, to Jordan Paul Abbott of Mebane, son of Rickey Abbott of Greenville and Katherine Abbott of Tarboro.
The wedding will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 16, 2017, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Southern Alamance High School in Graham and graduated from the University of South Carolina at Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Master of Science. She is an insurance adviser with Michael Shoffner State Farm Insurance in Graham.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Tarboro High School in Tarboro and graduated from East Carolina University in Greenville with a Bachelor of Science. He is a territory manager for Reynolds American.
