The Alamance County Health Department is holding a drive-through rabies vaccination clinic on Saturday.
The clinic will be held 9 a.m. to noon at the Environmental Health Office at 209 N. Graham-Hopedale Road in Burlington.
All owners will be expected to stay in their cars. Dogs will be vaccinated from the car, and cats should be brought in a carrier, so they can be taken into the building to be vaccinated.
The rabies shots will cost $5 per pet.

In North Carolina, all cats and dogs older than four months are required to be vaccinated for rabies. This will be the only rabies vaccination clinic of the year.
This year, there have been two confirmed rabies cases in Alamance County, compared to seven the previous year.
