Graham’s Great Pumpkin Pursuit — Scavenger Hunt, by Graham Recreation and Parks, Graham Police Department and Alamance County Public Libraries. Free. Walk through the story of Smiley the Pumpkin around the city. Give your best impression of a monster walk in the Monster Walk Zone. Find 10 hidden pumpkins, each with a code word. Collect all 10 code words and submit them online for a chance to win a gift basket. For a bonus entry, take a picture along your journey and use #GrahamsGreatPumpkinPursuit on Instagram. Pumpkin Pass-along, an online pumpkin decorating contest, by Graham Recreation and Parks and Graham Police Department. Free. One entry per person. Choose a category: Silliest Pumpkin, Scariest Pumpkin, Best Painted Pumpkin, Best Carved Pumpkin or Jury’s Choice Pumpkin. Decorate a pumpkin and submit a photo of it at www.GrahamRecreationAndParks.com. Don’t have a pumpkin? Pick up a small pumpkin at Graham Recreation Center, 311 College St., on Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 4-6 p.m., while supplies last (one per person, must be present).
