BURLINGTON – Police were looking Thursday morning for a man robbed a discount store at gunpoint Wednesday night.
A man with a red bandana covering his face entered the Family Dollar at 1519 Rauhut St. about 9 p.m., approached the clerk behind the counter brandishing a semi-automatic handgun and stole an undisclosed amount of cash, the Burlington Police Department said.
The man ran away toward Sharpe Road.
There were no injuries reported.
The robber was described as Black, about 5 feet 5 inches tall with a slim build and wearing all black.
