BURLINGTON — The Alamance-Burlington Schools Athletics Division is hosting an informational meeting for all K-12 students and families who participate in the district’s multilingual program.
The multilingual learners sports information night will start at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, in the Hugh M. Cummings High School auditorium at 2200 N. Mebane St., Burlington.
Alamance-Burlington School System district athletic director Todd Davis will share information about the array of athletic-based opportunities for students across the district as well as the positive impact that athletics can have on students’ academic performance, social skills and community contributions.
Guest speakers will include supporters from the CityGate Dream Center on North Church Street, Burlington, Board of Education member Seneca Rogers and several current student athletes.
