A man was shot at around 11:37 p.m. Tuesday at Bella Grocery in Burlington, police say.Â
A suspect walked between a gas pump and vehicle, drew a small gun from his pocket and shot multiple times, as is shown on the surveillance video at the business, which is located at 1846 N Church St.Â
Vuintus Mitchell, 36, of Burlington, sustained multiple bullet wounds and was taken to a local medical facility, according to a press release from the Burlington Police Department.Â
The suspect ran from the scene after the shooting, police say. He is described as having a slim build. He was wearing jeans, white Air Jordans, a dark camouflage heavy jacket and a blue face covering. Â
It's unclear how Mitchell knows the suspect.Â
