Police arrested a man who is accused of robbing Family Fare in Burlington.
Just after midnight on Wednesday, Oct. 7, police responded to Family Fare at 2227 Maple Avenue for a report of a strong-armed robbery, according to a press release from the Burlington Police Department.
Through an investigation, police identified Jaivon Donte Lassiter, 24, of Burlington, N.C. as a suspect, the release said. Police said tips from Crimestoppers helped them to identify the suspect.
Lassiter was arrested and charged with felony robbery with a dangerous weapon. He's being held at the Alamance County Jail on a $50,000 secured bond.
