The scores were 20-25, 25-21, 25-19 and 25-19.

MT. HERMON — The Southern Alamance volleyball team suffered its first defeat of the season Monday, falling to visiting Southwestern Randolph in four sets in Mid-Piedmont Conference action.
The scores were 20-25, 25-21, 25-19 and 25-19.
Kelci Brooks posted 14 kills and 20 digs for the host Patriots (9-1 overall, 8-1 Mid-Piedmont Conference), who played just seven athletes. Caitlyn Russell provided 15 kills and 15 digs while Greta Hessenthaler pitched in with 23 digs.
The Cougars (8-1, 7-1) have won eight consecutivmatches since losing to Southern Alamance in the season opener.
