Western Alamance's Avalyn Ward and Amelia Weaver qualified for Friday's NCHSAA Class 3-A state championship for girls' tennis in doubles competition.
The Class 3-A state championships are set to be held at Burlington Tennis Center.
The duo finished as the doubles runner-up at last week's regionals to qualify for the state championships.
Ward and Weaver will meet South Brunswick's Annie Stidham and Allie Hicks in a first-round matchup.
