Missing Burlington man found dead in abandoned house

Jerome Walter Wallace, 60, was last seen on Jan. 24 leaving his residence on Adams Street. A silver alert was issued due to his disappearance. 

On Feb. 17, officers found Wallace dead on the top floor of an abandoned house on Trade Street in Burlington, according to a news release. 

The State Medical Examiner's Office said he died of natural causes, and no foul play is suspected.
