The Alamance-Burlington School Systems lags behind the state average for the rate of students successfully completing work-related credentials in career and technical education, according to a new state report.

ABSS students earned 6,013 credentials in the 2022-23 school year, the 2022-23 Credential Attainment Data Report said. That compares well to many districts in the overall number but amounts to a credential attainment rate of 31.6%, based on enrollment in CTE classes versus credentials earned. The statewide average was 41%.
