As fall weather creeps its way into Alamance County, it is the perfect time to stroll through downtown and take in the sights, sounds and smells of fall. While you’re out, try hunting down the county’s most “Instagram-able" murals. 

The county is home to a multitude of public art pieces, especially murals, and more keep popping up all the time. Gather family, friends or loved ones and check them out. Don’t forget to snap a few selfies along the way. 

Gibsonville 1

Gibsonville added this new mural to its downtown area in 2020. The piece, created by Gina Elizabeth Franco, is located on the side of 133 W. Main St.

Burlington 3

The "Dance It Out" mural, painted by Gina Franco, is on the wall of Walkerdance Ballet Theatre, 263 E. Front St., Burlington.

This zodiac mural located at the corner of East David Street and Everett Street in Burlington is the first of a series of 12. This piece was created by artist @nonperishable.

This massive and bright mural in the southwest corner of Court Square quickly catches your eye in downtown Graham. @Nonperishable created this piece as well.
