Obstruction and resisting arrest were among the charges leveled at protestors arrested Saturday evening by the Alamance County Sheriff's Office.
Seven people face charges following arrests at the "We're Still Here" march, which largely took place at the Alamance County Courthouse.
Those arrested included Elizabeth Duford, Avery Harvey, Rikeah Johnson, Maurice Wells Jr., Morgan Carter, Andrew Crabtree and Tara Delgado-Rosardo.
Harvey and Delgado-Rosardo both face charges of disorderly conduct, while Crabtree and Carter face charges of impeding traffic. Johnson and Duford each face one count of resisting a public officer while Wells faces multiple charges, including resisting a public officer, injury to personal property and disorderly conduct.
Saturday's March took demonstrators from Main Street to the roundabout surrounding the Alamance County Courthouse. The majority of demonstrators cooperated with officers who were directing traffic. Many of the arrests occurred in the final hours of the protests.
