A woman is in critical but stable condition after being shot on Monday afternoon in Burlington, police said.
At 4:05 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 2, police responded to the 700 block of South Beaumont Avenue for reports of a shooting.
There they found Teresa Flowers, 45, suffering from a gunshot wound, according to a press release.
Police said she was taken to a local medical center for treatment.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
