Kate Croxton and Matthew Dietel, both of Greensboro, were wed in an outdoor ceremony at 6 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2019, at Castle McCulloch in Jamestown. Lauren Ragan, aunt of the bride, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Michael Croxton of Duluth, Ga.
The groom is the son of Kim Robertson of Alpharetta, Ga. and Christopher Dietel of Ann Arbor, Mich.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Nina Siso of Lawrenceville, Ga. Bridesmaids were Sydney Wood, cousin of the bride, and Mariel Talbot, both of Duluth, Ga.
Ian Stewart of Cumming, Ga. was best man. Groomsmen were A.J. Arjun of Lithia Springs, Ga. and Thomas Dietel of Alpharetta, Ga., brother of the groom.
The couple graduated from the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Ga.
The bride earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications. She is a former Times-News reporter.
The groom earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology. He is a former staff professional at S&ME in Greensboro. He is studying for his Masters in Geology at California State University, Northridge, Ca.
The couple will live in Northridge, Ca. after a trip to the Galápagos Islands.
