Sarah Rebecca Pepe and Jonathan Clegg McDonald Jr., both of Raleigh, were wed at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Front Street United Methodist Church in Burlington.
The Rev. Ross Carter officiated. Musicians were Mrs. Lynne Stutts Isley, vocalist and friend of the groom's family; Matt Brittain, organist/pianist; Allison Willet, Mike Sparks and Kevin Yen, violinists; and Paula Peroutka, cellist.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph James Pepe Jr. of Ormond Beach, Fla. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph James Pepe and Mr. and Mrs. John Burton Tuck Whitt. She is the niece of Mr. and Mrs. William David Sellers of Burlington.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Clegg McDonald of Burlington. He is the grandson of Mrs. Nelson Kerr Reid and the late Mr. Reid and the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Clyde McDonald.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Jamie Margaret Pepe, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Mary Kerr McDonald, sister of the groom; Alexis Elizabeth Brady; Jennifer Gunn Monslave; Catherine Niki Knowlton; and Danielle Marie Wright.
Nelson Lane McDonald, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Joel Tyler Gordon; William Edgar Lowe III; Matthew Blaine McGuire; Lang Taylor McBain; Robert Raymond Tatum II; Charles Bennett Younts; and William Whitt Sellers, cousin of the bride.
Honorary groomsman in absentia was Walker Reid McDonald, brother of the groom.
Flower girls were Finn Marie Knowlton and Ivey Ellis Knowlton.
Honorary flower girl was Kendall Lucy Cummings.
Greeters were Samuel Armstrong McDonald and Patrick Finley McDonald, cousins of the groom.
A reception followed at Alamance Country Club in Burlington.
The groom's parents entertained with a rehearsal dinner at their home.
The bride was feted with a bridesmaids luncheon at the home of the groom's grandmother, Mrs. Nelson Kerr Reid and his aunt, Mrs. Melanie Reid Soles.
The bride is a Communications graduate at Florida State University. She is Project Manager for MediaCom of New York City.
The groom is a graduate of Poole School of Management at North Carolina State University. He is Director of Real Estate for Captivate of New York City.
The couple will live in Raleigh after a trip to St. Lucia.
