ELON — A Reidsville man is accused of threatening mass violence against members of his former church in Elon, the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office said.
Keven Wayne Dillard, 35, had contacted a member of the security team for Friendship Baptist Church on Elon-Ossippee Road on Saturday evening, asking to enter the church on Sunday, but the security team member refused the request because of what were described as threatening comments by Dillard, the sheriff’s office said. The church pastor called the sheriff’s office about 7:30 p.m.
