One person was injured in a shooting Thursday afternoon on Brooks Street in Burlington.
At around 1: 20 p.m., officers arrived at the scene to find a 58-year-old man lying in a yard with a gunshot wound on his left leg, according to a news release. The man was conscious and alert and is thought to be in stable condition.
Officers believe the man knew his shooter and don't think there is a threat to the community.
