Scouts Wesley Swanner, Brian Beirne and Thomas Mitchell have earned the Charles H. Towne Supernova award, designed to motivate youth and recognize in-depth, advanced achievement in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics-related fields. Each Scout had to complete an extensive portfolio documenting his activities and achievements.
