Cone Health’s virtual 5K/10K raised $7,874.06 May 17 to May 31 for those affected by COVID-19. Cone Health owns Alamance Regional Medical Center and MedCenter Mebane. Nineteen teams and 234 people took part in the event, creating their own routes and running or walking the distance they choose. Proceeds benefit the COVID-19 Support Fund, created to support patients, caregivers, families and communities in response to the coronavirus pandemic. [SUBMITTED PHOTO]
