GRAHAM — Graham Walks, a five-week, self-motivating walking program designed to inspire you to stay active, will be held April 12-May 17. The program is for ages 18 and up.
Participation is free, but registration is required. It begins on Wednesday and runs through April 19.
Those wanting to participate in the Graham Walks program are invited to come to the kick-off to register in person, pick up an activity tracker log and grab some swag. The kick-off will be held at these times and sites in Graham on Wednesday, April 12:
- 7-9 a.m. at Lighthouse Nutrition, 912 S. Main St. A.
- 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Shamrock Nutrition, 128 S. Main St.
- 4-6 p.m. at Graham Recreation Center, 311 College St.
Participants are encouraged to not only walk but to be active overall. Set a goal and track your activity on the activity tracker log. Weekly group hikes will be offered to registered participants to celebrate the Year of the Trail.
After the five weeks, all participants who turn in their completed activity tracker log by the deadline of Friday, May 19, will be eligible to get a Graham Walks T-shirt, and be entered into the grand prize drawing (one per person).
