A man was arrested after deputies say he shot a woman Wednesday morning.
The 22-year-old woman was shot in an altercation with two men at a residence in the 700 block of N. Tillman St. north of Burlington. Bryan Lamar Gwynn, 32, opened fire and shot the woman, according to a press release from the Alamance County Sheriff's Office. The woman was taken to the hospital, and no one else was injured.
Gwynn is being charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill/inflicting serious injury, felony possession of a firearm by a felon, felony possession of marijuana, felony possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana and misdemeanor sexual battery.
He was taken to the Alamance County Detention Center and given a $110,000 secured bond.
