Burlington police have identified a suspect in the shooting that injured two people last Friday.
On Friday, Oct. 9, Darius Thomas Woods, 21, of Burlington, N.C. and Antwon Dupree Burnette, 36, of Cedar Grove, N.C. were shot at Joe’s Shopwell Mini Mart in Burlington.
After an investigation, police identified Nykeim Zantwan Thompson, 20, of Burlington, N.C. as a suspect, and they've obtained warrants for his arrest.
Thompson faces a felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
Police are currently trying to locate Thompson.
