At 10:04 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17, police responded to the 1000 block of Chandler Avenue for a report of a shooting, according to a press release.

Burlington police are investigating after finding a person with multiple gunshot wounds.
At 10:04 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17, police responded to the 1000 block of Chandler Avenue for a report of a shooting, according to a press release.
Police say they arrived to find a person lying in front of a house with multiple gunshot wounds.
That person was later identified as Jerry Davis Lee Jr, 31, of Burlington, N.C.
Lee was treated by EMS and taken to the hospital. He is in stable condition, the release said.
